I know, you’re dying to ask …

What’s up with that name? Aren’t pictures supposed to be IN focus? Well, yes, obviously. I was trying to be a little clever. Hopefully you’ll forgive the use of a pun. When I named my business Lacking Focus Photography, I was playing on the notion that I have so many interests and passions, I couldn’t possibly be locked into just one style of photography. I can’t imagine photographing buildings every day, or babies, or senior pictures, weddings, sports, whatever. I like to do everything, not just one thing. And I’d like to think that my diverse experience raises the bar of excellence for all of my work.


So my challenge to you …

Take a look at my work on this website. Follow me on Facebook. And check out my prices below. Then go out and take a look at my competition. If you find a photographer that offers a higher quality experience at a better price, I want to hear about it. I firmly believe that there is no one in the greater Cincinnati area who delivers a better value for your dollar.


Finally, the prices …

All packages include a disc of all the images, edited and ready to print at no additional charge, usually within one week (weddings included!). I keep things simple by allowing you to handle the printing however you like. Use the printer of your choice, print some now, print some later, print some again in 15 years. Or don’t print any at all. I won’t hold your pictures hostage in order to make money off of prints, like many photographers do. You own the images, use as you wish*.

  • Location sessions – ($200) Roughly one hour of shooting anywhere within a 30-mile radius of downtown Cincinnati.
  • Weddings
    • ($2300) Full coverage anywhere within a 30-mile radius of downtown Cincinnati for your whole day. That’s it. Nothing extra. Okay, travel outside the radius extra.
    • ($600) Second photographer for the day, optional.
